Day 20 of 21 Days of Prayer

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your paths.”

So often, obstacles and circumstances arise in our lives that we don’t understand how they are going to be resolved.  These problems consume our thought life and so our first instinct is to try to fix it ourselves; but we can all agree, that usually doesn’t get us too far.

God says to trust in Him, so how do we do that?  When those  overwhelming thoughts come, stop, ask God for help and direction for that situation.  But the key is to listen.  Don’t be anxious if you don’t get a response right away.  Know that God is for you, He is making a way where there seems to be no way and you are victorious.  God says we are more than a conqueror through Christ, through His ways, through His wisdom.  This is where the trusting happens, that your answer is on it’s way and it is bigger than your ever could imagine.

In these 21 Days, sit quietly in God’s presence and see His hand move on your behalf.
