Day 12 of 21 Days of Prayer

Colossians 3:1 “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

Why would God say “Set your minds on things above”? Because everything that exists in the natural realm begins in God’s spiritual realm. We have been given the privilege to see things from God’s perspective. As we set our minds on God’s Word, we subconsciously open our selves up to seeing things from a higher level-His level. God is as this big air traffic controller seeing all the pieces of our lives coming and going. As we stay connected to His voice, we will hear when to take off, land, or go to a different destination. Things make more sense on the inside when we set our minds and hearts on things that matter to God. God wants to lead us to a full life; He does that through the voice of the written Word. Sometimes you may not even be aware that you are seeing things from God’s perspective. I have found, that as I constantly put God’s Word before me, a reservoir is filled in me. All of a sudden a situation presents itself before me and I automatically respond with the reservoir of the Word planted inside of me. Without even realizing it, I was seeing and moving from God’s perspective. What a way to live!

Say, “I fill myself with God’s Word and so I’m lead in every situation of my life.”
