Day 8 of 21 Days of Prayer

Proverbs 3:34 “Surely He scorns the, scornful but gives grace to the humble.”

What does it mean that God gives grace to the humble? It means God gives supernatural unmerited favor and resources to those who recognize they need God. God gives grace to those who refuse to live their lives in their own self-efforts. By default we live in our own efforts when we don’t spend time hearing His voice through the Bible.  Out Of God’s great love for us, God has provided everything we need to live our life to the fullest. That “everything” has to be accessed. Realize that when we sit down to read God’s Word there is a supernatural impartation going into us. We may not feel it initially, but later on it will show up in a thought, conversation, or answer. Many times I have walked away from my time in the Word thinking, “I wonder why I was reading that”. However, time and time again, it always gets revealed why I was reading that particular passage. The point is, we need to approach the Bible in child like faith believing before we even read one Word that God is pouring supernatural stuff in us to prepare us for a powerful day! Let’s keep this before us as we are pressing in these days of Prayer and Fasting.

Say: “I’m hearing God’s voice every time I read the Word.”
