Day 13 of 21 Days of Prayer

During one of our Wednesday night meetings in Troy I shared a recent experience I had with the Lord.   As I was walking the Lord spoke to me about prayer.  He wanted me to encourage all of you to come to Him daily.  Did you know that God receives our willingness, even if we don’t know how to pray.  He showed me that when we come to Him, He takes away our insufficiencies, and receives the words we say.

God’s desire is that we come to Him and get to know Him.  God wants us to experience Him; He doesn’t want prayer to be intimidating or complicated.  Even if we simply approach God and say “Jesus, I know you are here, I am aware of your presence here with me.”  This is enough to get God’s attention.

It is important that we acknowledge God –to be aware that He is with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Proverbs 3:6 tells us to “acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will direct your path.” God gives us good and only good.  He actually puts His desires in our hearts because He knows what is good for us even better than we know. Then, as we acknowledge those desires, He brings forth those desires to come to us.  God is our helper; He does life with us and lives through us.

There is a connection that takes place when we speak the Word of God.  Our words create a frequency that connects us with God’s power.  Say with me today and connect to His power: “Because God loves me, all good things are coming to me.  God has good plans for me; He has a great future for me and He is positioning me to receive it.”
